Mandatory Race Packet Pickup and In Person Registration at The Running Factory (5480 Wyandotte St. East) from 10:00am-8:00pm on Friday, July 25 and Saturday, July 26 from 10:00am-5:00pm.

START and FINISH at the Windsor Firefighters Monument at the Windsor Civic Terrace. Distances include a 5K Run or Walk, CKLW AM800m Kid's Run and Kid's Dash.

NEW ROUTE! Run or walk on the beautiful Riverfront Trail west through Dieppe Park, past the Legacy Beacon and Streetcar No. 351, through the Windsor Sculpture Park, then returning back to the Firefighters Monument to FINISH. The course will feature a number of Police, Fire, Essex-Windsor EMS and CBSA vehicles off to the side in honour of all local first responders.

The first 400 registrations will receive a Finishers Medal and a limited edition t-shirt! Running age group awards for 1st place in each 5 year age division plus 1st place overall M/F. Post-race refreshments and food from Tim Hortons and Boston Pizza.

PLUS....put your first responder team together for a run at this year's Chief's Challenge Trophy!

RUNNING CLUBS...$100 cash for the Social Running Club with the most participants and $50 cash for the second largest group!

This run/walk will provide financial support for the Canadian Mental Health Association, The Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Ontario and The Windsor Firefighters Benefit Fund.

5km Road Run Course

5km will start at the Firefighter Monument (a quick walk west from Festival Plaza). The route is an out-and-back format, heading west 2.5km and coming back to finish at the Firefighter Monument.

NO inline skating, cycling, strollers, baby joggers, etc., allowed
No animals including support animals allowed on the course for safety
Mass Start - all participants will start together at the same time
Windsor Timing will be utilizing electronic timers and chip timing
A lead bicycle will direct participants on the course
A follow-up bicycle will be with the last participant on the course
A display clock will be at the START/FINISH so that each competitor can see their time
Water stations with volunteers will be provided at each KM on the course.
A PA system and announcer will be employed to review rules, announcement participants, etc.
