The 2025 Nova Scotia 55+ Games celebrates active living, competition, and community, bringing together athletes aged 55 and older from across the province. Hosted throughout Lunenburg County, including Bridgewater, Chester, and surrounding communities, the Games will feature various events and activities designed to challenge, inspire, and engage participants of all skill levels.

General Registration - Participants
This is your base registration for the 2025 Nova Scotia 55+ Games, taking place September 21–24 in Lunenburg County. After completing this step, you’ll be able to select your individual sports or activities. If you are registering as part of a team event (e.g., hockey, curling), your team captain will be invoiced separately for any facility or team fees—you do not need to pay those at this stage. Your participant registration includes: Access to your selected sports or games, Entry to the Opening and Closing Ceremonies, Admission to official social events, An official Games accreditation badge. Non-Participant Registration
Not competing in a sport but still want to be part of the action? Register as a Non-Participant and enjoy full access to the social and celebratory side of the Games! Your registration includes: Admission to all official social events, Entry to the Opening and Closing Ceremonies, celebrating the spirit of the Games, An official Games accreditation badge. This option is perfect for family members, friends, or supporters who want to share in the camaraderie and community spirit of the Games—without stepping onto the field of play.

If you’re registering a team for a sport such as Hockey, Curling, or any other team-based event, please review the following details:
Team Roster Form Required
The Team Captain must complete and submit a Team Roster Form, listing all team members and their contact details. This form will be provided during the registration process.
Facility Fee Payment
Team sports may involve a facility usage fee (e.g., arena or curling rink rental). The Team Captain is responsible for covering this cost on behalf of the team.
An invoice will be issued to the captain after registration.
Instructions for payment will be included with the invoice.
Each Team Member Must Register Individually
While the Team Captain submits the team info and fee, each team member must still register individually through Race Roster to be eligible to participate in the Games this includes paying the base registration fee.
Nova Scotia is divided into six official regions for the purposes of the 55+ Games. When registering, it’s important that you select the correct region you will be representing. This ensures fair competition, accurate team and medal counts, and proper regional coordination.

Regional Breakdown
Cape Breton – All communities located on Cape Breton Island
Highlands – Guysborough, Antigonish, and Pictou Counties
Central – Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM), including Halifax and surrounding areas
Fundy – Cumberland, Colchester, and East Hants
Valley – Kings, Annapolis, Digby, West Hants, and Clare
South Shore – Yarmouth, Shelburne, Queens, and Lunenburg Counties
