Lace up your running shoes and get ready for the Hooty Hoo 5K hosted by Kennesaw State University! Join us on April 12 at The Perch for an exhilarating spring run that welcomes everyone. The race will start and finish at The Perch and will take you through the beautiful Noonday Creek Trail. Participants will receive a T-shirt and have the chance to enjoy an exciting awards ceremony, complete with free food and drinks provided by local businesses and KSU Sports and Recreation. Don't miss out on this fantastic community event – whether you're a seasoned runner or a casual jogger, come and be part of the fun! Mark your calendars and we'll see you at the Hooty Hoo 5K. We are partnering with The Center for Young Adult Addiction and Recovery (CYAAR). CYAAR supports and encourages recovery and wellness by providing recovery-based programs to help Kennesaw State students succeed academically and in their recovery. Whether a student is in or seeking recovery from a substance use disorder, eating disorder, a process addiction, or affected by a loved one’s addictive disorder, CYAAR has available support services, education opportunities and resources. Please consider contributing to CYAAR’s Talon Twenty campaign – a monthly giving platform where individuals can give $20 a month in order to support the Center’s activities.
