Born to Run 5k

We want to share a very sincere and heartfelt word of thanks to all who were able to make it out to Central Park for our 5th Annual Born to Run 5k-despite the challenges of morning storms! With the grace of God, it turned into a beautiful day. It was amazing to see how many participants came out to run, walk and celebrate life--showing how deeply they care about supporting moms and families and how tough they are to get through the run despite the rain, wind and soggy shoes!

We are blown away by the generosity of all those who supported our runners and walkers by donating to their fundraisers. Because of your incredible generosity, we were able to increase our fundraising goal for the first time in our 5K history. We exceeded any of our previous year's totals by over $8000 and had a record number of participants!

Your dedication to run or walk to uplift the lives of others is truly an inspiration. Thank you to all who came out today and to our army of supportive staff & volunteers. $28K will provide free education, coaching and baby essentials like car seats, diapers and clothes and will touch the lives of hundreds of moms & babies in need in our community. Your steps and support do save & change lives!
