The annual Moose Jawg is returning for another year – and this time it is part of an exciting new running festival.
The Moose Jaw Running Festival makes its debut on June 8, with the goal of growing the running community in the province.
The Festival will feature the Moose Jawg 5KM/10KM and Runt Run, plus southern Saskatchewan’s newest half-marathon.
There are a few other exciting additions for 2025:
- A new title sponsor: The Moose Jaw Running Festival is presented by Golden West Trailer & Equipment
- A new drive to increase visitors to the city by partnering with Visit Moose Jaw
- New swag options, including an opportunity to buy a limited-edition white hoodie
All proceeds from the Festival will be donated to the Moose Jaw Health Foundation to provide life-changing equipment to local children involved with pediatric rehabilitation.
In partnership with Andrea Amiot, the race director from the previous two editions of the Moose Jawg, the Festival is being operated by 321 Go Running – a Saskatchewan company that leads charitable running/walking events in several Prairie cities.

Package pick-up: June 7 at Attic Spin Studio (237 Main St; side door entrance on Fairford St) 2-5 p.m.
June 8 at start/finish line 7:30-8:15 a.m.

8:30 a.m. for 21.1KM/10KM
8:45 a.m. for Runt Run
9 a.m. for 5KM
Start/Finish Line for all distances: Fairford St, just east of Main Street (beside Attic Spin Studio)

Children get the experience of beginning at the start line, then dashing 100 Metres before turning around to cover the same distance to the big finish line! All children receive a t-shirt, custom medal and snack at the finish line.
