Are you gearing up for the big race day on May 3 and 4? Whether you're tackling the marathon, half marathon, or the brisk 5K, we've got the perfect prelude for you! Dive into the heart of Pittsburgh at PPG Plaza on April 12 for a sneak peek at the course. This is your golden ticket to get a lay of the land, set your sights on the finish line, and fill your race day with confidence!

What’s on the Agenda?

• Check-in: Check-in begins at 6:30 AM. It's the perfect start to a productive day!
• Warmup: Get your muscles ready with a dynamic warmup at 7:45 AM.
• The Start: At 8 AM, we release the waves! Choose your pace and let the excitement carry you.

Your Distance, Your Pace

• Preview the UPMC Health Plan | UPMC Sports Medicine Pittsburgh 5K course
• Preview ~11 miles of the UPMC Health Plan Pittsburgh Half Marathon course (including a walking division pace!)
• Preview ~20 miles of the DICK'S Sporting Goods Pittsburgh Marathon course

All routes lead you back to where the fun began: PPG Plaza.

We anticipate having pacers for the following distances/paces:

~20 mile route: 7:00, 7:30, 8:00, 8:30, 9:00, 9:30, 10:00, 10:30, 11:00, 11:30, 13:00, Run/Walk 60/30 ratio

~11 mile route: 8:00, 8:30, 9:00, 9:30, 10:00, 10:30, 11:00, 11:30, 12:30, 13:00, Walking

5K route: There are no designated pacers for the 5K. People participating in this distance will be able to join any of the pace groups for the first 2 miles and will be on their own for the last mile back to PPG Plaza.
