My Story…
Salam!
This year, my family and I are taking part in the Run for Palestine – 5K challenge! It’s not just me—I'll be joined by my amazing wife Madiha, our energetic 9-year-old son Amin, and our spirited 7-year-old daughter Maryam. Together, we're setting out to hit the 5K mark, insha’Allah!
I’ll be honest—my knees aren’t what they used to be. But what keeps me going is the determination of my kids, who are stepping outside their comfort zones to run for something far greater than themselves: justice, compassion, and hope for the people of Gaza. The kids are able to get to about 3 km mark with running/walking so far and are working hard to increase their stamina for next week's race!

I'm participating in Run for Palestine - Toronto to raise funds for an urgent cause close to my heart — the people of Gaza. Last year, together we raised $74,776, and this year, we’re aiming higher with a goal of $80,000. With your help, I know we can get there.
