My Story…
I don't normally do fundraisers... or run races! But there is a 21st century holocaust taking place in Gaza, bolstered by the economic and military support of Australia, the UK, Norway, and Canada — all countries I've resided in safely. A growing mass movement is working on making it impossible for those who govern us to maintain their support for what the UN refers to as an engineered famine. If you have any capacity and haven't joined this mass movement yet, please do. In the mean time, Gaza is an extermination camp caused by Israel blockading food and aid while continuing to bomb the Palestinian people there. Please consider donating to (or spreading the word for) this 5km Run for Palestine in Winnipeg. All funds raised will go to to Islamic Relief through trusted local partners. They are in Rafah, Khan Younis, Deir Al Balah, Zawayda, Gaza City, and North Gaza, putting themselves at risk to deliver clean drinking water, food, and medical supplies to people who need it.
