My Story…
Navigating endometriosis has been extremely difficult throughout my life. In and out of doctors' offices until finally getting diagnosed, dealing with chronic pain for 3 out of 4 weeks every month, on top of random acute pain attacks made life dark, isolating, and so, so draining. Trying to maintaining a full-time career through all that has been very challenging, let alone having any semblance of a life.
It took too much time for me to find the care, knowledge, support, and pain management I needed to function and take part in this world. And this is why I choose to run.
Anything you can donate towards this underfunded painful condition would be greatly appreciated and goes towards future generations of girls/women/folks with uteruses to not suffer in the same ways I had to.
