I have been living with endometriosis—an invisible, debilitating illness—for nearly 9 years. It took over 7 years and a laparoscopic surgery to finally receive my proper diagnosis. Throughout this long journey, I endured not only pain but also medical gaslighting, where my symptoms were dismissed or minimized. No one should have to endure that. My hope for this run and its donations is to raise vital funds to support research aimed at earlier diagnosis. No girl or woman should have to live with unexplained pain for so many years. I also hope to help increase awareness about endometriosis and improve education for doctors and others in the healthcare system, so that patients can receive the prompt, proper care they deserve. Together, we can make a difference—bringing hope, healing, and better futures to those affected by this condition.
