Enjoy a walk or run through Missouri's first Level III Arboretum (and one of only 52 in the world!) while surrounded by incredible fall foliage. The rolling hills of Bellefontaine's 314 acres will allow a greater appreciation of the 87,000 lives commemorated on the grounds of the oldest Garden Cemetery west of the Mississippi.
Founded in 1849, Bellefontaine Cemetery and Arboretum has been the final resting place for many of St. Louis’s notable figures, including Priscila Baltimore, General William Clark, Sarah Teasdale, and Adolphus Busch. You will find world-renowned architecture such as the Wainwright Mausoleum, our historic Hotchkiss Chapel, and the “Girl in the Glass Box” nestled among our 14 miles of roadway. A diverse collection of close to 10,000 trees and shrub varieties dot the landscape, making this a peaceful run/walk through history and nature.

In-Person 5K/10K - Saturday, November 1, 2025
Check-in 7:45 a.m. - 8:25 a.m. Race starts at 8:30 a.m.
Registration for the chip-timed in-person runs includes a race shirt and commemorative race medal.
Packet pickup is on race morning only from 7:30 a.m. - 8:30 a.m.
RESTRICTIONS: For the safety of race participants, bicycles will not be permitted in the race.
Virtual 5K/10K - complete your walk/run on your own turf anytime between October 28 through November 2, 2025.
Registration Includes a race shirt and commemorative race medal.

Proceeds from the race support the Friends of Bellefontaine and benefit the Cemetery’s community support programs like Angels Rest, historic preservation, and educational tours.

In-Person participants can pick up their bib, shirt and medal at the race on race morning from 7:30am-8:30am.

Awards will be given to the top 3 male and female finishers in each race.
