Join us at The Refuge 5K Run/Walk and Fun Run at The Ham Jam Arts Festival in historic downtown Philadelphia, MS. This event is a fundraising event for The Refuge of MS, located here in Philadelphia, MS.
ALL PROCEEDS FROM THIS EVENT WILL GO TOWARDS FUNDING OUR OWN ACCESSIBLE VAN FOR THE PROGRAM!!
The Refuge is a non profit organization that operates on donations from individuals, churches, businesses, etc. We provide specialized care and support for adults with developmental, intellectual, and physical disabilities. The Refuge Special Needs Day Center offers a safe and inclusive environment where individuals can thrive and reach their full potential. The Refuge is currently serving a number of "Friends" on a weekly basis.
You can help us bridge the gap in care for those with special needs by participating in this event and/or even becoming a monthly donor. All contributions go back into the program helping us to serve a population in need of support and assistance. Your participation in this event ensures you can make a difference with us in meeting this need in our community and surrounding counties.
We can't wait to run with you on October 11th, 2025 at 7:30 AM!!
- $200 cash prize to the top male and female finishers.
- Medal to the top 3 male & female in each age division.
*All medals are handmade by the Friends of The Refuge.*
- Online registration closes at midnight on October 10, 2025
- Raceday registration available onsite from 6:15-7:00 AM.
- Packet pickup on race morning from 6:15-7:00 AM.
- Must register by September 13th to be guaranteed a shirt.
