THE BUFFALO RUN
On Saturday, September 27, you can run the races that run your Park at the annual Buffalo Run presented by Kroger Health. Keep the celebration going after the race at the finish line on the First Horizon Foundation Visitor Center Lawn overlooking Hyde Lake. Add on the VIP Experience to your 5k or 15k that includes close parking, post race snacks, photos & more!

Volunteer
The Buffalo Run is a fundraiser for operation of Shelby Farms Park and Shelby Farms Greenline, so volunteers are needed to make this event possible.

- 7:00 AM Registration & Packet Pick-up begins
- Pre-race entertainment begins featuring Bob the Buffalo!
- 7:45 AM Pre-race warm-up
- 8:00 AM 15k begins
- 9:00 AM 5k begins

Is The Buffalo Run timed?
The Buffalo Run 5k & 15k are both timed events. You will recieve a bib with a timing chip at packet pick up!
What is the route distance?
There are two race options - the 5k or the 15k.
Can I do the The Buffalo Run with a stroller?
Yes, strollers are welcome!
Do I need to register a child in a stroller?
Kids in strollers can cruise through for free with an adult registration! You will not need to register your child under 3 for this event.
Can my dog join the fun?
Yes! Please keep your pet on leash, leash in hand throughout the event and be sure to pick up any "presents" they may leave behind.
What do my race fees + fundraising efforts support?
Your presence at the BuffaGLO Fun Run is a present for Shelby Farms Park! This event benefits Shelby Farms Park Conservancy (the 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that manages and operates Shelby Farms Park and Shelby Farms Greenline), and your registration fees will help keep these special spaces clean, green, open and operating 365 days a year!
