Come help support research and program costs for Olive Stevenson and others in Manitoba who have recently been diagnosed with DDX3X or other rare disorders.
DDX3X syndrome is a rare genetic neurodevelopmental disorder that primarily affects females. It occurs when one of the two copies of the DDx3X gene loses its normal function, usually due to a random mutation at conception. The syndrome is associated with intellectual disability, autism spectrum disorder, language delays, and attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder.
