Race Roster's pricing looks different than what I have seen before. Here's why:
The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) has implemented a rule to enhance pricing transparency, particularly in the live-event ticketing and short-term lodging industries, that took effect on May 12, 2025. This rule requires businesses to prominently display the total price, including all mandatory fees, upfront to consumers. Exclusions, such as taxes, shipping, and optional add-ons, must still be disclosed before a consumer agrees to pay, according to the FTC.
The Race Roster fees are not new but including them in the online price is new due to these requirements!
