What is the PISE Sunset Run?
The PISE Sunset Run is a fun and low-competitive 3K community run hosted on the PISE track. It’s a celebration of movement, music, and community, all in support of inclusive physical activity programs for youth.
When and where is the event?
Date: Friday, July 18, 2025
Time: 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Location: PISE Track – 4371 Interurban Road, Victoria, BC
How long is the run?
The route is 3 kilometers, which equals 7.5 laps around our 400-metre track. It begins near the 200m mark and finishes on the same track.
What makes this run special?
Expect great music, a welcoming atmosphere, and the beauty of a summer evening. It’s all about moving with purpose and enjoying the experience with others.
Is there a cost to participate?
We ask for a minimum donation of $7, which helps cover event costs. Any additional donations go toward PISE’s Gift of Play and Gift of Potential programs.
Where does the money go?
Proceeds support youth programs, inclusive training camps, and financial assistance for children and athletes facing barriers to participation.
Do I need to be a runner to join?
Not at all! You can jog, walk, skip, or just move at your own pace. This event is about fun, not competition.
Can kids participate?
Yes! Youth are welcome to join the run. The 3K route stays on the track and includes 7.5 laps.
Will there be refreshments?
Yes. Water will be available, and we’re working with local sponsors to provide snacks and wellness items.
Are there prizes?
Yes! We’ll have small prize packs for top finishers and fun giveaways throughout the event.
