Tour de L'Alberta-Biking Like A Viking | July 13, 2025
We offer three timed Biosphere rides: 55 km, 100 km and 160 km. All three rides start and finish at the Strathcona Olympiette Centre in Sherwood Park. During each distance you will get plenty of opportunity to experience the diverse landscape of the Beaver Hills Biosphere and take in your surroundings. At the several rest stops we will provide refreshments and snacks to refuel you for the ride.
Your Biking Like a Viking registration includes a unique cycling experience with:
- Race entry for your chosen distance
- Professional marked road cycle tour
- A Biking Like a Viking Bib
- Nutrition and Aid stations strategically located along the routes
- Finish Line Catering
- On course ambassadors to provide start line information and ensure safety
- Routes will be supported by motorcycle and bicycle marshals equipped with tools for light maintenance & repairs, extra water and nutrition, fully equipped bike maintenance vehicles and sag wagons

- The following bikes are allowed: Road Bikes, Mountain Bikes and Pedal Assist E-bikes
- Participant needs to be 12 years or older
- Participant between 12 years and 18 years need to be accompanied by an adult. Waivers for participants between 12 years and 18 years need to be signed in person during race pack pickup.
