Join us for a day of outdoor adventure and community spirit! Whether you're a seasoned runner or just love a stroll in the woods, there's something for everyone:

🥾 Hike-A-Thon – October 1st - 31st! Complete a 26.2-Mile Marathon at Your Own Pace!
This event supports local land conservation efforts and is a great way to enjoy nature solo or with your fellow nature lovers.
For the Hike-A-Thon, you can take it step by step—literally! You have from October 1-31 to walk, hike, or run a total of 26.2 miles wherever and whenever you like. Hike the scenic Bottomland Trail (5.43 miles) just under five times, or mix it up with your favorite local spots. Break it up into short treks or go the distance all at once—it’s up to you!

MISSION AND VISION
Woodlands Conservancy is a 501-C-3, nonprofit land trust organization created with the mission to preserve and restore forested wetlands and other ecologically or historically significant lands in Louisiana. The vision of Woodlands Conservancy is to be the regional model for the conservation of hardwood forests, and a leader in the advocacy and preservation of Louisiana’s coastal forest ecosystems.
