Ready to run so a wish can come true?
This Summer, I am launching the first-ever charity run during the Cochrane Lions Labour Day Rodeo weekend in support of my campaign with the Women For Wishes and Make-A-Wish Canada. We hope to raise $10,000 during this fun event that will give Make-A-Wish the ability to grant a sick child the wish they are waiting to come true.
In Canada, 90% of wishes that come in are for a magical trip to the Happiest Place on Earth. So the theme of our event is inspired by the characters that bring joy to life in the Parks. This means dressing up is encouraged!
With the generous help of the Cochrane Lions Club our event has very little overhead, which allows us to donate almost all of the proceeds from the registrations that come in from amazing people like you.
So grab those runners, shine up that crown or find your super suit, because we are running for a wish to come true!

1k Kid Run/Walk
This event is for families wanting to lace up their runners together for a morning of activity! Kids can run this 1K or walk with you, just make sure you register everyone in your party. Kids ages 3-9 have a discounted rate at check out!

5k Run
The 5k run is open to runners of all levels of fitness from age 9 and up! Any runners between the ages 9 - 12 need to be signed up and joined by their guardian and anyone between the ages of 13 - 17 years old just have to be signed up by a guardian.
