ABOUT THE RUN
1. Can I run virtually?
a. No, it is a fully on-ground event held at Stadium Nasional Bukit Jalil (a physical location).
2. Who is eligible to participate in Coway Run 2025: Power Your Progress (the “Run”)?
a. All citizens and non-citizens residing in Malaysia may participate.
b. Minimum age requirement:
i. 5KM run: 12 years and above as of 31st August 2025
ii. 5KM kids run: between 3 years to 11 years as of 31st August 2025
iii. 10KM run: 16 years and above as of 31st August 2025
iv. 21KM run: 16 years and above as of 31st August 2025
3. Does Coway Run 2025 support a charitable cause?
a. Yes, RM10 from every ticket sold will be contributed to Coway Happy Water Project, an initiative to provide clean drinking water for communities in need.
4. Is Coway Run 2025 a timed run?
a. The 5KM run will not be timed; the 10KM run ends after 2 hours; the 21KM run ends after 3 hours 30 mins. The fastest runners to reach the finish line in the 10KM and 21KM runs according to the respective categories will be awarded with prizes.
5. Will I be required to fulfil any Covid-19 safety precautions before the Run?
a. Participants have an option to:
(i) Conduct a self-test the day before the Run (please refrain from participating if you test positive);
(ii) Wear face masks throughout the event (except during the Run);
(iii) Sanitise your hands from time to time
6. What is the flag-off time?
a. The flag-off time will be announced soon upon final approval by the relevant authorities.
7. I already have my own insurance plan. Do I still need to purchase Group Personal Accident Insurance with my ticket/s?
a. Yes, this is compulsory, as declared by the Malaysian Sports Commissioner’s Office.
REGISTRATION
1. How can I register for the Run?
a. You can register and purchase tickets here.
2. How do I make payment?
a. After completing the registration process, you will be directed to a payment portal where you can pay by credit card/debit card/e-wallet.
3. How will I know if my online registration is successful?
a. A confirmation email will be sent to your registered email address upon your successful registration.
4. If I cannot make it for the Run, can I get a refund or withdraw/transfer/defer my participation?
a. All tickets purchased are final (non-transferable, non-refundable, and non-deferrable).
b. We will do our best to resolve any issues you may face. If you have any questions, please contact us at cowayrun@coway.com.my.
5. Can I make changes to my name and apparel size after receiving confirmation of my registration?
a. No, you cannot make any changes to your personal details.
b. Please note that the names of participants and apparel sizes are final upon registration and cannot be changed.
COWAY RUN RACE KIT
1. What merchandise will I receive?
a. All participants of Coway Run 2025: Power Your Progress will receive a Coway Run Race Kit upon successful registration, which consists of a bag, a Coway Run official t-shirt (measurements are subject to 0.79+/- inch tolerance), a numbered race bib (for 10KM and 21KM run only), a wristband (for 5KM run only), and a medal (collectively referred to as the “Coway Run Race Kit”).
2. When will I receive my Coway Run Race Kit?
a. You will be required to collect your Coway Run Race Kit between 22nd August 2025 to 24th August 2025, from 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. (“Collection Period”).
i. The collection venue is currently To Be Confirmed.
ii. Coway reserves the right to modify the collection method, location, and timeframe as deemed necessary, and participants will be notified of any changes via email.
b. Coway Run Race Kit can be collected by the registered participant or an authorised representative. The authorised representative is required to present a photocopy of the registered participant's NRIC/Passport and confirmation slip during the Collection Period.
c. Medals will be distributed at the finishing line on the day of the Run.
d. Strictly no collection of Coway Run Race Kit on the Event day, and no courier services will be provided if the registered participant or authorised representative fails to collect the Coway Run Race Kit during the Collection Period.
e. Any Coway Run Race Kit not collected after the Collection Period will be deemed unwanted, and the organiser may dispose/redistribute them accordingly. No further claims will be entertained.
