The 36th annual, Bessemer Hometown Run 2025 includes a 10K run and a 2 mile run/walk. Both races start at the Bessemer City Hall on Sophie street and Colby street at 8:30am sharp! Awards to follow immediately after for the overall male and female winners as well as top two male and female in each age group. Get all your family members to run/walk as the family with most participants wins a special award. There will even be an award for the top overall stroller in the 2 Mile event only, it's fun for the whole family! The race is a big part of the already week-long 4th of July festivities for the town of Bessemer culminating with the fireworks display at dusk on the 4th! Bring the whole family and stay for the day or a few, and enjoy a host of activities.
