Miles for Mildred 2025

Going the Distance to Support Nonprofits

This year, we’re stepping up for change—
and we need you to walk with us.
In honor of what would have been Mildred’s 103rd birthday, we are encouraging a symbolic walking goal of 3 miles per person, completed by August 17th.


Here’s how it works:
  • Register and set your fundraising goal ($250 fundraising minimum)
  • Optional but encourage: Invite a friend to join you! The more participants we have, the more fun we'll have... and the more impact we can make together
Donation methods include:
  • Directly through Race Roster on your personal fundraising page
  • Venmo, Cash or Check collection (you are in charge of collecting donations and sending directly to the MDF, PO Box 170909, Boston, MA )

On August 17th, we’ll celebrate with a cookout and symbolic walk at Needham Golf Club from 4PM to 6PM for anyone able to attend.

Our goal for 2025 is to distribute $1,000,000 to fund life-changing grants. We're aiming to have 500+ walkers for this event, which will bring us one step closer to meeting that goal.

Incentives

To celebrate your efforts, we’ve put together some fun rewards to keep the momentum going. Whether you're hitting fundraising milestones or bringing friends along for the journey, here’s how we’re saying thank you at fundraising levels and referrals.

$250 - Congratulations on hitting your goal! You will recieve a 2025 Miles for Mildred's T-shirt! This can be picked up at the Needham Golf Club on August 17th or shipped out to you after the event.

$500 - You will receive a $75 credit to the Mildred's Dream Foundation Store

$750 - You will receive one raffle entry to your choice of 2 tickets to the Boston Bruins, Boston Celtics, or New England Patriots during the 2025-26 season. (Mutually Agreed Upon Game).

Referral Bonus: Help us grow the movement! For every person you refer, you'll earn an entry into a second raffle for 2 tickets to the Boston Bruins, Boston Celtics, or New England Patriots during the 2025-26 season. (Mutually Agreed Upon Game). Your referred participant must enter your name during the registration process by answering the questions - "how did you hear about this event?"
