My Story…

Dear Friends and Family,

This year will be my first year walking in loving memory of one of my most cherished friends, Lisa Haberman, who died by suicide in 2019.  Her father, Arthur Haberman, also took his life this past year.  Both of Lisa’s sisters also died by suicide years earlier.  One of the sisters was my high school best friend.  The Distress Centre was instrumental in supporting Lisa’s family to cope with these tragedies.  They support family and friends who have experienced traumatic loss and offer support to those in distress.  Please consider donating in memory of Lisa and Arthur. 

A tax receipt will be issued for all donations.
