Volunteer Opportunities
If you’re interested in volunteering for this year’s Turkey Trot, we’d love to have you on the team! Please fill out the volunteer form, and we’ll reach out with details and next steps. Whether you can help before race day or join us on the morning of the event, there’s a role for everyone to get involved and make a difference.
NOTE: If you need proof of hours, we can happily provide.
Bag Stuffing
Wednesday, November 19 | 5:00–6:30 p.m. (or until we’re done!)
Come help us kick off race week by putting together the runner swag bags. We’ll pack shirts, medals, flyers, and goodies for race day. It’s an easy, fun way to get involved and meet other volunteers before the big event.
Canvassing
Flexible – on your own time
Help us spread the word about the Turkey Trot by putting up posters around the community. You can do it whenever it fits your schedule — every flyer helps get more people out to run, walk, and cheer on race day.
Early Packet Pick-Up
Friday, November 21 | 12:00–6:00 p.m. (pick your shift)
Help runners get ready for race day! Volunteers hand out bibs, shirts, and swag bags, answer questions, and keep the line moving. It’s a great way to connect with participants and soak up the pre-race excitement.
Race Day Packet Pick-Up
Saturday, November 22 | 7:30–9:00 a.m.
Be part of the early morning buzz as runners arrive! You’ll help check people in, hand out their race packets, and make sure everyone’s ready for the starting line. This role is fast-paced and fun — perfect for those who like to be in the middle of the action.
Course Marshal
Saturday, November 22 | 8:15–10:00 a.m.
Course Marshals keep runners safe and on the right path while cheering them along the way. You’ll be stationed along the course to direct traffic, guide participants, and share a little encouragement. Your energy helps make the race experience great for everyone.
Parking Attendant
Saturday, November 22 | 7:30–9:30 a.m.
Help keep race morning running smoothly by guiding cars into parking spots and pointing participants in the right direction. A friendly wave and good energy go a long way toward starting everyone’s morning off right.
Race Day Flex Volunteer
Saturday, November 22 | 7:30–10:00 a.m.
If you’re happy to jump in wherever needed, this is the perfect role for you! Flex Volunteers help with all sorts of tasks on race morning — from setting up tables to handing out water to cheering at the finish line. You’ll be part of the team that keeps everything running smoothly.
