50 km’s, 8 sections, 4 runners, 1 team, 1 vehicle. On Saturday, August 9th we would love for you to join us for the 3rd Annual BackRoads running series event, as we run from North London to an epic finish line at Broken Rail Brewery in St. Mary’s —> Ragnar style!
Get your team of four ready and as one of you is out running the route, the other three runners are driving to the next transition point. Hydrate, snack, crank the tunes, and cheer on your fellow runners as you prepare for your next section!
At least one runner from each team will be on the course running their section, with a maximum of 2 runners per team per section.
Ideally each runner will run two sections with the sections varying between road and trail throughout the run. Sections vary in length from 4.5-9km.
Registration is a minimum $50 donation amount per person (including a tax receipt) with every cent going to Ronald McDonald House Charities!!
Are you feeling philanthropic? Between now and race day, each team is encouraged (not mandatory) to raise even more money for Ronald McDonald House, with the top fundraising team being outfitted in their next running kit - furnished by our amazing New Balance family!
Spots are limited to 30 teams!
Please designate your team captain to register via the "Team Captain Registration" link. The captain will be required to create the team name. The other 3 individuals will use the "Non-Captain Registration" link and select their team name from the drop-down menu.
Schedule:
Saturday August 9th, 2025 in the parking lot at Mother Teresa Secondary School (1065 Sunningdale Road E).
We would kindly ask that all 4 team members from each team arrive by 7:00am for check-in. The run will start at 7:33am.
With this being a unique event concept, Scott Goodyear will be in touch with all team captains well in advance of the event, to go over the route, finer details, and answer any questions related to the day.
