Saturday Orienteering Series - Let's Go!
Ready for epic Saturday morning adventures?
Join us for event 2 of our term 2 Hawkesbury Nepean event series.
Whether you’re a total pro or just want to try something new, this is for YOU. Beginners are totally welcome, so no stress!
Week 2 takes us to Penrith Selective High School.
You can race solo, team up with mates, or bring the fam for a chill group explore. Saturdays are all about soaking in the outdoors, diving into some nav. and just having a blast.
All you need? Comfy activewear and a little love for the outdoors. We’ll sort a map, a course, and even free tips to get you started. Easy, right?

Start Window: 9:30am to 11am (start any time within this window)
Courses: Warm Up (recommended starting course for beginners), Short Line, Long Line, and Score.
SPORTident timing is used for all courses. If you do not own a SPORTident card, please hire one.
Normal entry fees (a small late fee applies if entering late):
Adults - $18 (members -15%)
School Students - $15 (members -15%)
Host school students - free
Timing card hire - $4 pp
Prices include GST and merchant fees.
The student discount will automatically be applied.
Orienteering club members can also claim an additional discount through the use of the promo code "ONSW".

This is a great starting point for newcomers with a maximum distance of 1km. Try this out and then graduate to something more challenging for no further charge on event day. Bring comfy shoes and a taste for adventure!

If you attend the school that is hosting this event, please have a complimentary run on us (and afterwards let your teachers know how much fun the event was).

Group member Closed
Bring some mates or the fam! Friends or family are welcome to accompany entrants on any course for free. Whilst there's no charge, please register group members individually so that we know who's coming. Group members do not need to hire a SPORTident card and do not receive an individual race map and course time. If group members would like their own map and result, enter a course and pay an entry fee (and still run together if you want).
