BTS DUATHLON #2
Welcome to event #2 Wodonga stock route.
Duathlon #2 is part of a 4 race series where we will crown winners at the end of the final race. You dont need to be a member to win the series ...... but members will be able to get bonus points at one event they choose.
These events are timed with a stopwatch, except for the kids who won't be timed at all as stipulated in AusTriathlon Competiton Rules. (parents are welcome to time their own child)
If numbers increase beyond what we anticipate we will look to get alpine timing on board.

Adult Long course - 8km run/18km bike/200m run
RUN COURSE
- A mix of footpath and dirt. You will Start at the bridge over House Creek, making your way along the footpath under the causeway, towards the freeway. There is a big new Northeast Water building at about 1km, here is where you will turn off the path and jump on to where the old railway line went. Crossing over Wodonga creek and running behind the motorcycle track you will be directed back onto the concrete path to make your way back to the causeway, as you pass under the causeway you will turn left and follow that path all the way back to transition.
- Long course athletes will turn just before transition and complete that lap again.
BIKE COURSE
- NOT SUITABLE FOR TT BIKES - Perfect course for Gravel Bike or Mountain Bike
- This road is all bitumen but it's not the hot mix like roads around town. The stones are rough & the corners are sharp so maybe leave the skinny wheels at home. A perfect course for the MTB's, even though its flat, it's technical which will keep you thinking and challenge your bike handling skills.
- 12 to 17 will do TWO laps
- Adult long course will do THREE laps
