Why have the start times changed?
We have updated the start times for 2025 to respond to the continued growth in participants in the Sydney Half and to ensure that every runner has a positive and safe experience while completing the course.
Course Information
Where is the Course? Is it accurate
The course runs through many of the landmarks of Sydney Olympic Park. Starting on Dawn Fraser Avenue runs through Sydney Olympic Park Athletics Centre, around the Accor Stadium and finishing on the Athletics Track.
It is fast and flat and perfect for participants of all standards to run that elusive PB.
The course is AIMS certified. A fancy way of saying it is 100% accurate.

Is there a drink station?
Yes, there are two water stations on the course. Please view the course map to see the locations
There is no water station for the Family Fun Run.
Water and fruit will be available at the finish line
Bib Information
I had my bib posted however it hasn't arrived?
Bibs should arrive by the Monday before race day. Please contact Athletics NSW if it has not arrived.
Where can I collect my bib?
You will be able to collect your bib between during the following times at Sydney Olympic Park Athletic Centre.
Friday 12th September: 3 pm - 7 pm
Saturday 13th September: 10 am - 6 pm
Sunday 14th September (Race Morning): From 5 am
We encourage all participants to collect their bib prior to race morning, otherwise they may experience delays which may impact their experience at the race.
Can someone else collect my bib?
Yes, they can, they will just need your confirmation receipt.
What happens if I lose my bib?
You will need to report to the bib collection area during the designated opening times and our staff will be able to assist you.
Race Day
What time should I arrive?
In general, if you have already registered and received your race bib, you should arrive at the race venue no later than 30 minutes prior to your race start time.
If you still need to collect your race bib or register, you should arrive no later than 1 hour prior to your race start time.
How do I get there Is there a parking area?
4 Hours free parking will be available for Athletes/Spectators that park in P1, P2, P3 or P4. Please note:
- Parking tickets can be validated at the Sydney Olympic Park Athletic Centre Reception.
- Parking validation will only be available until 2pm.
- Pre-paid parking cannot be validated or refunded.

Will there be pacers for the Sydney Half Marathon?
Sydney Striders will be the official pacers for the 2025 Sydney 10. We will have athletes to cover the following times:
- 80 minutes
- 85 minutes
- 90 minutes
- 100 minutes
- 110 minutes
- 120 minutes
- 130 minutes
- 140 minutes
Is there a bag drop?
There will be NO designated bag drop area available.
