8:45 am: Kids' 1.5K run
9:15 am: 10K run and 5K run/walk
10:30 am: Prize giving on the Library lawn
Online registration starts on June 15 and ends on August 22nd at 9:00 pm. On-site registrations accepted on Saturday August 23rd from 7:45 am on.
This year we are excited to encourage everyone to register on a TEAM! Your team can have as many people as you want but must be more than 2 people. How about a family team - the Smith Team?!
We have a $60 family registration fee, valid for grandparents, parents and kids, up to 5 family members. Here is how to do it:
1. Click on the Family Pack button and register yourself in a sub-event.
2. Click on Add Another Registrant.
3. Remember to CLICK ON FAMILY PACK FOR EACH MEMBER OF YOUR FAMILY BEFORE choosing their sub-events (10K, 5K, etc.).
4. You will be charged only $60 at the end of your transaction! If not, please don't pay, but go back to the sub-event for family members as it is easy to miss the details. Contact us at 604-828-3249 if this still doesn't work for you. We will arrange a refund or guide you through the process.
If you're on your own, there is a $30 individual registration fee for 5km and 10km distances, or $10 for a child in the kids' run.
Note: This year, we haven't raised the registration fees, but are asking you to pay the processing fee for us.
We have some very cool unisex Bowen Island T-shirts available to pre-order or purchase on the day of the run as a donation to the event.
Your registration fee (and your donation) goes directly to Komera Canada, a registered Canadian charity that supports young women at high school and university in Rwanda;. They depend on us to complete their education, so please bring your family and friends to join us for the run/walk on August 23rd!
