9:00 am: 10K run and 5K run/walk
10:15 am: Prize giving on the Library lawn
Online registration starts on June 15 and ends on August 22nd at 9:00 pm. On-site registrations accepted on Saturday August 23rd from 7:45 am on.
This year we are excited to encourage everyone to register on a TEAM! Your team can have as many people as you want but must be more than 2 people. How about a family team - the Smith Team?!
We have a $60 family registration fee, valid for grandparents, parents and kids, up to 5 family members. Click on the Family Pack button and then register everyone by clicking on Add Another Registrant. First click on Family Pack in the Sub Event menu for each member of your family, and then choose their sub-event (10K, 5K, etc.), which is just below the personal information. You will be charged only $60 at the end of your transaction! If not, please don't pay, but go back to the sub-event for family members as it is easy to miss the details. Contact us at 604-828-3249 if this still doesn't work for you. We will arrange a refund or guide you through the process.
If you're on your own, there is a $30 individual registration fee for 5km and 10km distances, or $10 for a child in the kids' run.
We have some very cool unisex Bowen Island T-shirts available to pre-order or purchase on the day of the run as a donation to the event.
Your registration fee (and your donation) goes directly to Komera Canada, a registered Canadian charity that supports young women at high school and university in Rwanda;. They depend on us so please bring your family and friends to join us for the run/walk on August 23rd!
