Join the RAV Virtual Team Challenge as communities across Australia walk, run, and move toward a future free from domestic and family violence. Over 19 days, you and a team of up to 20 people will move together to cover 1,300km.
Complete your kilometres wherever you are, in your local neighbourhood, on a treadmill, or at the park. Starting at midnight on 30 August and ending on 17 September, midnight AEST, upload daily distances, and track your team’s progress along the virtual course from Broken Hill to Sydney.
No team, no worries! Use this link to register. We will find you a team.
Three entry options allow you to move at your own pace.
There are three steps for a Team Captain in 2025. Those are:
1. Invent Team Name and Team Code
The Team Name can be up to 30 characters long and make it unique and distinctive.
The Team Code must be at least 4 characters long and can be a mix of letters and numbers.
2. Go to the Event page and Register yourself
Complete your personal registration details and when you reach the Team question select,
"Yes, Create new team and add this registrant" and enter your Team details.
Then answer the other questions and complete your registration.
When you complete your registration, your team will automatically be created.
3. Invite team members
You will receive a Welcome email that also has your team join link and and Team code, OR
Go to your personal Dashboard in Race Roster and click on Teams Tab.
Agree to T&C's which will activate Teams link.
Follow screen prompts to invite Team members - ensure you include Team name and code.
4. Send important information to team members
Many Team Captains choose to do activities beyond these steps, for instance, they set up group chats and motivate their teams.

Whether you are a first timer or returning RAV'er, here is a summary of the steps involved in registration.
- Obtain the Team Name and Team Code from your Team Captain
If you need us to find you a team, select the team "Run Against Violence" and use the code "0000" - Go to the Event page to start your Registration.
- Select your entry type - Standard, Silver or Gold.
- Enter your details and enter Team details when prompted.
- Purchase any merchandise.
- Complete the donation information.
- To complete your registration, accept the waiver and then make the payment.
Your Team Captain will be notified that you have joined the Team.
Once you have registered you will have access to invite friends which you access via your Race Roster homepage.

We have a limited number of entries available for people experiencing financial hardship. Should you wish to participate in the 2025 RAV Virtual Team Challenge but can't afford to do so, please contact us prior to registration, and you may be able to access one of these entries.
Join the Run Against Violence team!
During the registration process, you will be asked to select a team.
Select the "Run Against Violence" team and use the team code "0000".
After you register our support team will make contact. We always have teams who are looking for additional members. Our support team will chat with you about some options and then assist with transferring your registration to that team.
