Join us for The St. Pete Mile
This event is sooooo much fun every year, you don’t want to miss out. Whether you’re looking to run your first ever mile or you’re trying to crush your personal best, this is for you! This is a friendly, inclusive and FUN event for people of all ages and abilities! We will race on Global Running Day, June 4th on the track at Northside Christian School, 7777 62nd Ave North in St. Pete.
- The Race Distance is 1 mile.
- The cost to register is $10. You may sign up online or you can sign up the night of the event. The night of the event cost is $15.
- Kids 12 & Under can participate for free in the kids races.
- Events commence at 6:20. There will be multiple heats of the mile so participants can run with people of comparable speed.
- This event is for runners of all abilities.
- Chipped timed for accurate timing
- Bring your family, friends and run club out to have a fun night of running

- We will have a “Track Meat” cook out provided by On Running
- Lots of fun new awards – fastest jean shorts mile, fastest person wearing On running shoes, most outrageous outfit
NEW! Packet Pick-Up in Store: 6/2 Monday 4-7pm, come into St. Pete Running Company and pick up your Bib, this will make Wednesday night pick up quicker! You can also sign up at this time if you haven't already (address: 6986 22nd Ave N, St. Pete, FL 33710)

5:30 PM - Arrival & Registration Begins
6:20 – Kids 100 meter Dash (for ages 1-10, free race)
6:25 - Kids 1-Mile (for ages 13 and under, free race)
6:50 - Believe Mile - 10 + Pace
7:10 pm - Achieve Mile - 8:00 - 10:00 minute pace.
7:25 pm - Moxie Mile - 7:00 - 8:00 Pace
7:35 pm - Grit Mile - Men's 6:00 - 7:00 pace
7:45 - Championship Mile Female - Under 7:00 minute pace ($50 cash + a $50 SPRC gift card for the top female)
7:55 - Championship Mile Male - Under 6:00 minute pace ($50 cash + a $50 SPRC gift card for the top male)
8:05 - Pace Your Race - Estimate finish time & closest finisher wins. This Race is open for everyone of all paces to participate.
8:20- Awards
Awards will go out to the following categories:
- Winner of Each Heat
- Fastest Female - $50 Cash
- Fastest Male - $50 Cash
- Middle of the Pack – Person who has the middle mile time of all the times
- Fastest Mile in a pair of On Running shoes
- Fastest Mile in a pair of Jean shorts
- Mile Style – most outrageous outfit (tutu, wig, full costume)
- Pace Your Race – Has the closest time to what they guessed.

Kids 1 Mile Race
This is a free event for kids to run 1 mile on the track. Will take place at 6:30pm. This is for all children age 13 and under.
Believe Mile (10 Minute + Pace)
The Believe Mile is for anyone who will run 1 mile in 11 minutes +
Achieve Mile (8 - 10 minute Pace)
The Achieve Mile is for anyone who will run the mile in 8 - 10 minutes
Moxie Mile (7 - 8 minute pace)
The Moxie Mile is for anyone who will run 7 -8 minutes for the mile
Grit Mile (Men 6 - 7 minute pace)
This event is for male athletes who will run 6 - 7 minutes
Women's Championship Mile (Women under 7 minutes)
The Women's Championship Mile event is for all female athletes who will run under 7 minutes
Men's Championship Mile (Men under 6 minutes)
The Men's Championship Mile is for any male athletes who will run a mile under 6 minute pace.
Kids 100 meter Dash
This event is for the little kids under the age of 8. Run a 100 meter dash down the home stretch of the track.
Pace Your Race
Estimate finish time & closest finisher wins. This Race is open for everyone of all paces to participate.
