Camp Wendake is a one-week overnight camp program for children and adults living with HIV, their family and/or support. Set on the beautiful shores of Lake Huron near Bayfield Ontario, Camp Wendake provides a welcoming place to come together with others who share a similar life experience. When we all come together - it is a powerful and life-changing week focused on fun, food, meeting new people and reuniting with old friends... all while enjoying a beautiful, rustic camp experience. Camp Wendake is completely volunteer run - from our 40 camp volunteers, to our year-round Governance Committee who raise funds and work with community partners to ensure the sustainability of this incredible program. For over 25 years, Camp Wendake has offered individuals living with HIV a stigma-free, safe and beautiful space to relax and experience the joy of community.
