Our story…
It's exciting to consider what we are doing, positively, for the future of Windsor Essex County (WEC). Together we are investing in Transitional Housing for women in need of longer term shelter after leaving intimate partner violence (IPV). So many communities across Canada have Transitional Housing for IPV - why not WEC? Particularly when you consider the lack of affordable housing here, and all across Canada. As a solution, Hiatus House is making Transitional Housing a reality and they need our support. 100% of what's raised in the Royal LePage® Shelter Foundation™ Night Light Walk will go to Hiatus House so they can build Transitional Housing in our community. Come join this Team and walk the evening of Oct 23rd, and/or donate to our initiative. We're "From the County" and we're investing in women and children who need us! Who is with us?
