Welcome to the 2025 Cape York half andf full marathon, but this time unsupported and you will be running self-sufficient. A group of runners from Thursday Island and Bamaga have asked could they still run the actual event route for a medal and singlet. Given my personal committments in 2025, I could not make it up to Cape York this year, so this is the alternative chance to have a run.
Some of teh runners are either medical or emergency personnel, so you won't be entirely unsupported.

Magnetised 42km Medal Option
This option is for those who are thinking of completing any of the other compass point events. This medal contains four magnets in it, which allows it to magnetise to the other pieces of the Australian map medals. The magnets are inserted by hand and therefore cost extra then your normal medal. This price includes your magnetised medal, runner's buff, runner's singlet and postage.
