My Story…
This October, in honour of Down Syndrome Awareness Month, I’m lacing up my runners and taking on a 5km run (after a 2 year running hiatus😬) in support of our local Down syndrome association here in Simcoe County.
This cause means the world to us. Since moving to the area, the association has been a lifeline — helping us find support, community, and connection. It’s not just an organization; it’s people who truly understand and walk this journey with us.
Leo continues to inspire us every day. Running this 5k is one small way we can give back, raise awareness, and show our appreciation for the incredible work being done locally for families like ours.
