About the Nomar and Mia Compassion Fund

The Nomar and Mia Compassion Fund was created in honor of two beloved senior cats who brought endless joy, comfort, and love to their human, Scott Colby — the organizer of Tails on Trails. This special fund exists to make sure that no pet parent ever has to choose between getting their pet the medical care they need and being able to afford groceries or rent.

Thanks to our partnership with the University of Tennessee Foundation — the nonprofit that supports life-changing programs across the UT System — 100% of your donation goes directly to helping low-income pet parents cover emergency and essential veterinary care for their cats.

When you donate, you’re not just supporting a cause — you’re giving a second chance to a pet who might not get one otherwise. And you’re honoring Nomar and Mia’s legacy of love, loyalty, and compassion.

Here are some pictures of Nomar and Mia. ❤️
