My Story…
Each year, September 30 marks the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.
In part, a day to honour the thousands of children who never returned home, the survivors of residential schools, as well as their families and communities.
The Orange Shirt symbolizes the loss of culture and identity and is inspired by the experience of Phyllis Webstad.
