Help Maria raise money

This is the 4th year that I've participated in this beautiful community event and run to commemorate Orange Shirt Day. I am an immigrant/settler to this land and I understand that I have a responsibility to understand the truth of colonization and to work towards reconciliation and equity with all people in my community. This event is an important opportunity to remember and honour the children who survived the residential "school" system, and also the children who did not survive. In raising money for the Orange Shirt Society, we are helping to raise awareness of the individual, family and community inter-generational impacts of Indian Residential Schools.
