Countdown to event
The Manning Park Trail Run is proudly brought to you by Friends of the Community and is a volunteer-led event with 100% of proceeds supporting a local charity.
Held at Manning Park in Hamilton Hill, the trail run offers participants the choice of a 5km or 10km course. The route takes runners and walkers past the historic Azelia Ley Homestead, through hilly bushland trails, and up the challenging 192-step Manning Park Stairs. From the summit, participants are rewarded with panoramic views of the Indian Ocean, including Rottnest Island and surrounding areas. The 10km course includes an additional loop, offering a second ascent of the stairs before circling back to the finish line near the lake.
The event promotes community engagement and healthy living while celebrating the natural beauty of Manning Park.
All proceeds will support Friends of the Community and their Youth Scholarship Fund, helping to provide educational opportunities and meet the needs of young people in the local community.
Race bib collection will be open from 7am on the day, with the run starting at 8am.
After the event, all runners are encouraged to stay for the medal presentations.
