Lion's Roar 5K

Lions Roar 5K is a family friendly 5K to support Leawood Elementary School PTSA!  We welcome all ages and abilities.  Our race takes place at beautiful Clement Park in Littleton, Colorado

which is right in our neighborhood. Money earned at this race will go towards technology fees for our students' Chromebooks, school beautification and our art, music, and P.E. programs.
Should we reach our goal of raising $20,000 we can purchase new basketball hoops for our gym. 

Each registration received by September 12th, 2025, includes a race shirt and a race packet

Registrations after September 12th, 2025, will not guarantee you a race shirt

  • $35 Registration fee plus processing fees per individual. Households with 5 or more members will receive an automatic discount for registrant #5 and beyond.

Who runs?
The demographics of this event will likely be a mix of serious athletes, aspiring runners, and families. Children are welcome.

What time does the race start?
Race begins at 10am on Sunday September 28th, 2025.

When and where can I pick up my race packet?
If you wish to avoid long lines on race day, you may pick up your packet early at Fleet Feet located at 8116 W Bowles Ave in Littleton. Early packet pick
up will be available Sept 27th for those who have pre-registered. You may pick up for friends and family members. Please bring a copy of their registration confirmation(s). Registrants after 5 p.m. on 09/27/25 can pick up the day of the race.

Can I register day of?
Race Day registration will be available online if the 1500 participant max has not been met.

Can I bring my dog?
Yes, friendly dogs are welcome but must be on a leash.

Can I bring my child in a stroller or allow kids on a scooter?
Strollers are welcome. Yes scooters can be allowed but be mindful of other athletes in the race.
