My Story…
I am passionate about the mission of NAMI Rockland. First formed by a small group of parents seeking ways to erase the stigma of mental illness and how to get help. They joined together and became part of a nationwide grassroots organization.
I joined NAMI Rockland (then known as FAMILYA) after my son was diagnosed with mental illness and served as President and Executive Director for thirty years. NAMI Rockland has grown into a vital community organization offering programs and services to hundreds of families and individuals impacted by mental illness each year. We provide invaluable help and hope through support, advocacy, and education - FREE to all who need it.
Please join me by registering to run or walk on Sunday, September 14 and/or make a donation to me or my team to help us sustain and grow our programs.
