2025 Nova Scotia Harbour Swim for The United Way

This fall the Provincial United Way campaign is swimming across the province.

From Tuesday, September 3rd to Friday, September 6th fearless fundraising swimmers will plunge into harbours across the province where, one stroke at a time, they will engage in harbour hopping, United Way Style!

And YOU could be one of them!

We are reaching out to swimmers across the province to invite you to celebrate this unique opportunity with us.

All you need is two things to qualify:

- To be able to swim 1500 metres in 40 minutes

- To be able to raise $150 in pledges


Swim dates and sites:

Tuesday, September 2 – Shelburne - Shelburne Waterfront, bottom of St. Patrick's Lane - 12 p.m.

Wednesday, September 3 – Chester - Municipal Wharf - 6:00 p.m.

Thursday, September 4 – Halifax - Bishop’s Landing - 11:30 a.m.

Thursday, September 4 – Sydney - at the Fiddle - 6:30 p.m.

Friday, September 5 – St. Peter's Canal Locks - 8:30 a.m.

Friday, September 5 – Pictou – The Hector Quay Visitors Marina -1:00 p.m.

Prices are inclusive of mandatory charges, items, and fees

All registrations must collect $150 in pledges and your fee is waived
