The Women For Women originated back in 2003..... a community driven event. It’s energy and purpose is to bring awareness and funds to all kinds of women. It orignated with the focus on supporting women in education with scholarships, bursaries that are available for entering, continuing and graduation students in all program areas. While education is important, so is family and non profit organizations....it's benefits become full circle when there's a light at the end of the tunnel.

As the Women For Women event grew with popularity...so did it's maturity while sharing its wealth. With 5 equally important charitable and educational causes....Campbell River & North Island Transition Society(Women's Resource Centre, Safe House, Rose & Eagle Harbor & Ann Elmore House), in the past Robron/ Continuing Education, Babies Best Chance and Foundry have also been recipients....As the Women For Women Fundraising event continues to grow....the Campbell River Hospice Society is now a cause that seems to be on the forefront...

While every year the event looks for sponsorship...to make it more appealing and more inviting....Campbell Rivers businesses and individuals continue to step up.
