Help me support families with sick kids
Having a child with a rare disease means its not easy to get expert care in your home state. This requires us to travel 500 miles one way for our daughter to get medical care for the past 10 years. If it wouldn't be for the Ronald McDonald House Upper Midwest Charities, I do not know where we would be. The Ronald McDonald House has been our home away from home. They truly go above and beyond for patients and their families. Have a place to sleep, do laundry, eat meals and have meals to take with us to the hospital is absolutely amazing. In addition, we have spent several holidays at the Ronald McDonald House, and while not ideal they go above and beyond to make families feel at home and celebrate while taking care of their ill child. This past year we have stayed at RMH 9 months out of the entire year. Your support of RMH will not only help families like ours, but over 6000 families a year have a place to stay while their child receives medical treatment. Thank you!
Description
I'm supporting Ronald McDonald House by raising funds to support families with seriously ill or injured children. Last year families saved more than $7 million thanks to the free lodging, meals, snacks and programming provided by RMHC-UM. They even have a K-12 school so families can all stay together during a child's illness or hospitalization. The care and attention that is placed on making a stay at Ronald McDonald House as welcoming and stress-free for families who are dealing with an already difficult situation is truly amazing!
