Ugly sweaters, festive miles, and holiday fun—be part of the 6th annual Ugly Sweater Run presented by Hunter Subaru!
The Ugly Sweater Run is back at Oskar Blues Brewery in Brevard, NC! Enjoy a scenic, mostly flat course along Brevard’s greenways, around the Sports Complex, and through charming neighborhood streets.
The 5K features under 100 feet of elevation gain, with a double loop for the 10K—perfect for runners, walkers, families, strollers, and even pets in their holiday best. With all-paved surfaces and easy spectator access, it’s a great way to soak up the festive fun. Join us for holiday cheer, fitness, and a community celebration!

Register before November 2nd at midnight and get a FREE short sleeve dri-fit shirt, available in unisex and women's options, with your registration!
Beginning November 3rd, shirts will only be available in limited quantities and sizes for $25.
All participants will get a Hunter Subaru goody bag and a festive holiday finisher ornament.

Packet Pickup
There will be no pre-event packet pickup.
Packet pickup will be on race morning, Saturday, December 6th, from 7am - 8am at Oskar Blues Brewery (342 Mountain Industrial Dr, Brevard, NC 28712.)
Want to skip Packet Pickup altogether? Have your race bib and shirt (free until deadline) mailed to you in advance. Choose the pre-event shipping option during registration and show up on race morning ready to go! No lines and no stress! The deadline to select this option is Sunday, November 9th at midnight.
Children 14 and under: please run with an adult!
This is a family friendly event, but it also takes place on roads that are open to traffic. We'll have road signs, course marshals, and police officers on the course, but all runners under 14 should be accompanied by an adult.
Sweater Squad Showdown!
Got an ugly sweater and an awesome crew? Perfect. Join the Sweater Squad Showdown and your group could snag $1,000 just for showing up in style (or lack thereof)!
Here’s How it Works:
Gather at least 10 people— think run clubs, church groups, coworkers, neighborhood crews, or any fun-loving bunch!

💰 The group with the most participants wins $1,000!
👟 Walk or run with us in your ugliest sweater on December 6th!
Every participant that adds your group name during registration counts toward your total — so rally your squad and get ready to show off your most festive attire!

Participants can join us either in-person or virtually (or a combo of both) for these three races:
- South Asheville Turkey Trot (Nov 27)
- Ugly Sweater Run (Dec 6)
- New Year’s Resolution Run (Jan 1)
And receive a Holiday Hustle BONUS medal on New Year's Day! To enter the Holiday Hustle series, just sign up for each of the three events listed above and you will be automatically added. The deadline to register for the three races in the series and earn the medal is Friday, October 31st, 2025.
