Join us on Saturday, August 9, 2025, for the Walk for WAIT House—a community celebration and fundraising event in support of youth experiencing homelessness in the Glens Falls region.

Hosted at the Glens Falls High School Track (10 Quade Street, Glens Falls, NY), this event is more than just a walk—it's a chance to show up for young people in crisis, raise awareness, and make a direct impact through connection, advocacy, and action.

💚 About WAIT House

WAIT House provides safe shelter, peer support, and critical services to homeless and at-risk youth in Warren and Washington counties. Our mission is to offer youth stability, support, and pathways to independence. Proceeds from this walk help fund our emergency shelter, youth peer advocacy, transitional housing, and resource programs.

👟Why Walk?

Every step you take helps change the future for youth in our community. Funds raised support shelter, mentorship, education, and healing for youth ages 16–24. By walking with us, you help reduce homelessness and increase hope.

We’ll mail your official event T-shirt, and you can send us a photo showing your support from wherever you are. Your steps still matter—and we’d love to include your picture in our post-event highlights!

To guarantee your name or logo appears on the official 2025 event T-shirt:

• logos for t-shirts have already been submitted

• Email logos to: tbeck@hycwaithouse.org (PNG preferred, JPG accepted)

• T-shirts are provided in standard men’s/unisex sizing. Please consider this when selecting your size.

• Your event t-shirt(s) will be waiting for you at the race.
