Youth across Colorado are facing growing mental health challenges, and more than ever, they’re reaching out for support. Second Wind Fund is here to answer that call, connecting youth at risk for suicide with timely, life-saving therapy that removes financial and social barriers to care. As the need continues to rise, so does our impact - thanks to the compassion and commitment of our community.

What began as a small school community event has become a cherished statewide tradition of remembrance, connection, and action. Now in its 24th year, Second Wind Fund’s Annual Walk/Run brings together families, partners, and supporters to honor lives lost, celebrate hope, and raise critical funds for youth suicide prevention.

Join us on September 21st at Clement Park to walk, run, and rally around a future where every young person can access the mental health care they deserve.

There are various ways to participate:

Register and walk or run on Sunday, September 21st
Virtually participate from home
Donate and/or create a peer-to-peer fundraiser. Top fundraisers will receive awesome SWF swag items!

Event Schedule:

7:00 am – Registration Opens
8:00 am – 5K Run/Walk Start and Entertainment Begins
9:30 am – SWF Program + Dove Release
* 1 Mile Walk will start right after the program (approx. 9:50)
11/11:30 am - Event Concludes
