Terms & Conditions – Durian Sarong Run 2025
General
1. Participants who complete the online registration agree to abide by all terms, rules, and regulations set by the Organiser, Kampung Tunku, for the Durian Sarong Run 2025.
2. The Organiser reserves the right to accept, reject, or limit entries at its sole discretion without assigning any reason.
3. All participants must provide accurate and truthful information during registration. Incomplete or misleading entries may be disqualified.
4. Registration is confirmed only upon full payment of the entry fee. No refund will be issued for participants who fail to show up, withdraw, or are disqualified for any reason.
5. Registrations are non-transferable and non-refundable.
6. No name or category changes are allowed after registration is confirmed. Please verify all details before submitting.
7. On-the-spot or walk-in entries will not be entertained.
Race Entry Pack Collection (REPC)
1. Participants must collect their Race Pack on the designated REPC dates announced by the Organiser.
2. Collection on behalf of others is allowed with a copy of the participant’s confirmation slip or IC.
3. Race Packs not collected during the scheduled REPC will be forfeited. No requests for alternative collection will be entertained.
Durian Giveaway
1. Each registered participant who completes the race will receive one (1) 300g pack of fresh XO durian worth RM50, sponsored by Dking.
2. Durian packs are strictly non-transferable, cannot be exchanged for cash or other items, and must be collected on the event day only.
3. Participants must present a valid bib number to claim the durian pack. Lost or damaged bibs will not be replaced.
4. The Organiser will not be responsible for any allergic reactions or adverse health effects resulting from durian consumption.
Safety & Responsibility
1. The Organiser will take reasonable precautions to ensure safety but is not liable for any bodily injury, death, loss, or damage to personal property arising from participation in the event.
2. All participants enter the event at their own risk and should ensure they are medically fit to run.
3. Participants must complete the emergency contact details on the reverse side of the race bib.
Disqualification
1. Participants may be disqualified for the following:
2. Failure to wear the official race bib visibly.
3. Taking shortcuts or deviating from the official route.
4. Use of substitute runners or any other form of cheating.
5. Littering along the course.
6. Continuing the race after cut off times or without permission.
7. Consumption of alcohol, stimulants, or prohibited drugs
8. Disobeying race officials or marshals.
Inclement Weather
1. In the event of bad weather, the Organiser may delay the start time, modify the race route or cancel or postpone the event without refund.
Photography & Media
1. The Organiser reserves the right to use any photographs, recordings, or videos taken during the event for legitimate promotional and commercial purposes.
2. By registering, participants grant permission for their likeness to be used without compensation or notice.
Medical Advisory
1. Running is physically demanding. All participants are advised to consult a medical professional before registering.
2. If feeling unwell before or during the race, participants must stop and seek assistance from on-site medical personnel.
3. Organisers and medical teams reserve the right to remove any participant deemed unfit to continue.
