Important Weather Update

We were looking forward to watching everyone Do-Si-Do across the finish line at our annual Cookie Run tomorrow but after careful consideration and consultation with the Maryland Heights Police Department, we are cancelling the in-person option due to the forecast of snow. While this was not an easy choice, the safety and well-being of our runners, walkers, program partners, volunteers, and staff must come first. Please see below for a rundown of everything you need to know about participating virtually!


Virtual Participation
Since we won't be able to have our in-person event, everyone registered for the 5K will be able to submit virtual results and still be able to compete for age group awards. You will be sent a separate email shortly with information on how to submit your times. To be eligible for awards, you'll need submit a screenshot with your results to confirm your time, and you must submit your time before 11:59pm on Thursday, December 4th. Email jake@s2fevents.com with any questions on submitting times.

Swag and Medals
We want to ensure everyone gets their swag and finisher medal for this year’s race. We will be offering packet pick up from our council office (2300 Ball Drive, St. Louis, MO 63146) starting at Noon on Tuesday, December 2 through Thursday, December 4 at 5 pm. Stop by the front desk anytime during normal business hours, from 9 am to 5 pm to pick up swag items and your finisher medal.

Finish Line
Want to celebrate your finish with us? Join us at the Girl Scout Program Center (2306 Ball Drive, St. Louis, MO 63146) on Tuesday, December 2 anytime from 4-7 pm at our indoor finish line! We will have hot chocolate, a tasting booth for the new Exploremore cookie, photo op, and medal/swag pick up. We will also have bins out for the toy drive!

Costume Contest
Already have your outfit planned to win the costume contest? You can still win big by posting your photo to social and tagging Girl Scouts (girlscoutsem on Instagram and/or Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri on Facebook). Make sure to get your photos posted by end of day Thursday, December 4. Winners will be selected and contacted on Friday, December 5!

Toy Drive
If you were planning to donate a toy during the race, you can still drop off your item during our indoor finish line on Tuesday, December 2 from 4-7 pm.

Lace up those running shoes—it’s time to Do-Si-Do across the finish line for the sweetest race in St. Louis!

Join us for our annual Cookie Run with a western twist as we highlight the Do-Si-Dos cookie! All swag will celebrate this beloved cookie, and we encourage participants to dress with the theme in mind—prizes will be given to the most spirited!

Participants will have the opportunity to participate in-person on Nov. 29 or complete their run/walk virtually anytime from Nov. 21-30. Ready, set, register today!

All 5K and 1-mile participants will receive a commemorative Girl Scout themed medal. Participants have the option to choose a t-shirt or swag bundle (bandana and pop socket) with their registration. There is also an option to opt out of swag to save $5. Swag quantities are limited, so register early to guarantee your preferred choice. A custom event patch is available for ordering during registration as well as a Cookie Run crewneck! Top finishers in each age category will receive free Girl Scout Do-Si-Do cookies! Giddy on up with friends and family to the Girl Scout Cookie Run!


Race packets will be mailed to all virtual participants. Register by November 6th to guarantee you receive your packet by November 21st. Please note that any participant who registers for the virtual race option after November 6th may not receive their race packet by November 21st.

Packet Pickup

Packets can be picked up at the following times:

Swag

Participants receive a custom event short-sleeve shirt as part of their registration. Participants can opt to receive our swag bundle (a bandana and pop socket) instead of the shirt or add on the individual items for an additional charge. Participants can also opt out of swag to save $5 on their registration fee. A Cookie Run crewneck will be available for purchase this year as well as swag items from previous Cookie Run events! A custom event patch is also available for ordering during registration.

  • 7:00am | Race day registration/Packet pickup open
  • 8:00am | Timed 5K Run/Walk begins
  • 9:00am | 1 Mile Run/Walk begins
  • 9:20am | 5K awards announced

Event Policies

  • Dogs are not allowed to participate in the 5K run/walk or 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk
  • Strollers are welcome, we just ask that you start towards the back of the field
  • There will be no refunds available for race registrants who did not purchase refund protection.

Awards

All in-person and virtual participants will receive a Girl Scout themed finisher medal. Winners in each age group will receive a box of Do-Si-Dos! Cookies will be given to the top 1 male and female finishers of the 5K (in-person) in the following age groups:13 & Under, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & Over.

Volunteer
